My Story
My name is Diomara J. Colón, but most people call me Dio. I’m a Senior Content Specialist with almost a decade of experience in strategic content marketing and digital media. I’m 32 years old and currently based in Texas, originally from New Jersey, and raised primarily in Puerto Rico, an upbringing across cultures that deeply shaped how I see storytelling, language, and human connection.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies and a master’s in Public Relations, both of which laid the foundation for my passion for shaping intentional, impactful messaging.
Throughout my career, I’ve led data-driven content strategies for diverse industries, including beauty, education, government, nonprofit, construction, and technology. In my current role, I collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and mentor content creators to build campaigns that are both creative and results-focused. At the heart of my work is a commitment to helping organizations communicate with clarity, cultural awareness, and purpose.
